Big Fin™ Seafood Kitchen opened on December 1, 2009 in the Dellagio Town Center on Dr. Phillips’ Famous Restaurant Row along Sand Lake Road and quickly became a favorite among locals, conventioneers, and tourists alike. Big Fin™ still remains as the desired “go-to” restaurant 3 ½ years later located in the heart of Central Florida’s tourist area near all of the Orlando attractions, hotels and resorts. The tourist area includes about a 5 mile radius around the restaurant location. Big Fin™ is conveniently located just 3 miles from the Orlando Orange County Convention Center along International Drive, 3 miles from Universal Orlando Theme Park, 5 miles from Sea World and Discovery Cove and minutes from Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Epcot and Animal Kingdom.

Universal Orlando Resort just announced the expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where they will be adding Diagon Alley (anticipated opening in 2014) which will bring new rides, restaurants, and shops as well as the Hogwarts Express offering transportation between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando Resort also announced the all new 3-D Transformers Ride opening on June 21, 2013. Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort will be premiering its newest parade called Disney Festival of Fantasy in 2014 featuring the newest and some older characters. Downtown Disney will be expanding and doubling its restaurant, shopping, and entertainment. Fun Spot will also be expanding and adding new rides including rollercoasters! Orlando is also known for their hometown NBA team the Orlando Magic. Their home court is located at the Amway Arena in downtown Orlando where an exposed practice court is also located. Fans walking down the street can look in and see their favorite NBA players shoot some hoops from time to time. In other sporting news, soccer is rapidly growing. The Orlando City Soccer Team has just made a bid to become a part of Major League Soccer. Although the Atlanta Braves are not an Orlando team, Disney’s Wide World of Sports hosts their spring training and nearly all of the games are sold out.

Private Dining Rooms are available to host Group Dinners, Corporate Meetings, Birthday & Anniversary Celebrations or Cocktail Receptions. The Bar-A-Cuda Patio & Trophy Bar are available to host cocktail receptions for up to 150 guests and the entire restaurant is available for exclusive events for up to 450 guests. Larger events can easily be accommodated by utilizing outside areas of the restaurant.
